The Living Well Foundation is a non-profit organization, established to
enhance the quality of life and health of the citizens of Ouachita parish and
the surrounding areas.

The Living Well Foundation was established by the sale of Glenwood Regional
Medical Center to Iasis Healthcare. Proceeds of more than $44 million were used
to establish the Ward Five Healthcare Foundation on January 31st, 2007. So that the
foundation would be easily identified and recognized for the impact it has on the community,
the name was changed to the Living Well Foundation.
